Files in PICT format resemble files in TIFF format but mostly used by Macintosh applications. The previously mentioned IrfanView software as well as some other software titles allow reading these files and saving them in other formats under Windows OS. This format ensures lossless compression and is processed by Stufflt software. PICT files consist of separate graphics objects (lines, arcs, ovals or rectangles) which can be edited and resized separately. PICT files can also contain raster images.
